We aim to dispatch your order the same day if paid for before 2pm (excluding weekends and UK public holidays). Please note that if your order contains an item with a 1-2 day handling time your item will take longer to dispatch.
Once dispatched you will receive a notification and the item will then be delivered in the next 2-3 working days.

For collectors and connoisseurs, this is one of the most exciting re-releases of the year. The SA 330/Westland Puma HC.1 returns in an impressive 1:32 scale - based on the legendary "Original Matchbox" tools. This kit has not been available since 2012, making it a sought-after rarity. The demand for this historic model has increased enormously, particularly due to the recent retirement of the "Puma" from the Royal Air Force. This kit combines the nostalgic charm of classic shapes with modern standards such as completely revised, full-color building instructions.
Why this kit is a piece of model building history
- Matchbox original: Experience the model building charm of the 80s. The molds (“tools”) originally come from Matchbox and are known for their robustness and surface structures.
- Imposing size: A superlative model is created on a scale of 1:32 with a fuselage length of 45 cm and a huge rotor diameter of 471 mm.
- German version buildable: The kit contains special components (e.g. radar nose, swimming bellows) in order to authentically represent the German version (Federal Police/BGS).
- Exclusive Marks: Two high-quality sticker sets allow you to choose between a classic RAF (Royal Air Force) machine and a German operational variant.
- Modernized Experience: Despite the historical shapes, the kit has been upgraded. The sprues are now kept in neutral gray (instead of the often colorful ones in the past), and the new instructions guide you safely through the construction in a modern color style.
Building this puma is a journey back in time. You'll see how engineers at the time tried to capture the complex shape of the tactical transport helicopter. With 160 parts, the model is clear, but requires experience due to the large components and the fits of classic shapes (Level 5). The finished model is a massive eye-catcher that perfectly embodies the robustness of the original - a real "workhorse" of the skies.

The Aérospatiale SA 330 Puma (later also built by Westland) was the backbone of many air forces for decades. It was used as a tactical transporter for troops and material in crisis areas around the world. He completed countless flying hours with both the British RAF and the German Federal Border Guard (now the Federal Police). Its retirement marks the end of an era that you can keep in your collection with this model.
